Dökkálfar – Dark Elves. Another name for the svartálfar. Possibly dwarfs.

Draupnir – The Dripper. Óðin’s ring, given to Baldr on his funeral pyre. Produces eight rings of equal weight every ninth night. Crafted by Brokkr and Eitri.

drengr – bad-ass

Dvalinn – famous dwarf turned to stone by the sun. The dwarves called the sun ‘Dvalinn’s delight.’
